Cat and her now husband by vampire law Bones are back in the latest book of The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost. Cat’s still working for her Uncle, baiting and eliminating rogue vampires but now vampires are starting to see through her disguises, placing her and her team in danger. But is it Cat or Bones, their newest enemy is after?

Once I learned of the pending release of At Grave’s End, I began waiting impatiently and Ms. Frost did not disappoint me. Cat and Bones are as lively and real as they were in books one and two of this series. New and old, familiar characters join the fray in a thrilling ride, that had me laughing, crying, and pondering the “who-done-its.” All of the characters feel very much alive and Ms. Frost’s writing style easy to follow. Bones and Cat’s relationship is as hot as always and the growth of Cat’s mother, Justina impressed me a great deal. One of the new kids on the block in this installment is Vlad (what vampire story is complete without Dracula?). Vlad became one of my new favorites as the story progressed, with his flashy, superior airs. Though there is no cliff hanger ending, I still anxiously await the next book in this series.

This book and the whole series is a must read for any who love a good vampire story and for everyone else.
