Kimbrell watched as Darlene, with Jake by her side, climbed in the limousine to leave for her honeymoon. Kimbrell was left to take care of the ranch while they were gone on their honeymoon. Although Kimbrell was not used to running the ranch by herself, she is willing to let the Carlisle brothers help in the day to day care of the ranch while she supervises. Enter, Dallas, Corbin and Rex, three strapping brothers who know how to make a woman drop to her knees the minute they give her one of their famous seductive grins.
Kimbrell is a woman who has gotten through life lying on her back to get what she needs. She makes no secret of it and it is very apparent with all the locals where her talents lie. She is a sassy, brassy woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. I admired her sense of humor and deep down, there lie a woman who was just afraid of getting hurt. The Carlisle brothers all had something that Kimbrell needed and I loved their passion, loyalty and protectiveness toward Kimbrell. It was heartwarming to see the lengths they would go to to make sure that "their" girl did not hurt in any way. The sex between Kimbrell, Rex, Dallas and Corbin was just flat out hot and intense! I was completely immersed in the story line and the passion was just out of this world.
A Matter Among Four is the sequel to A Matter Among Men. This is the first time that I have ever read a Menage book and I cannot believe what I have been missing. Destiny Blaine has introduced me to a whole new genre and has set the bar high for any future books that I may read from this particular genre. It was an outstanding, hot read that I could not put down. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves hot hunky cowboys, and a great story line. I do have to include that the sex scenes in this book include F/M/M/M. If this offends you, I would not recommend this book as a book for you. However, if you would consider reading this book, I PROMISE you it will be a book that you will not soon forget. It has become a favorite of mine and Destiny Blaine is certainly an author that I have come to adore. Her writing really draws the reader in and by the end of the book, you feel like they belong to you.
