Review - Pure Magic by Anne Sorgeson

Is there more than magic in the air? Cassie and Harold have worked together for a long time. Hearing about a great opportunity to do a nude magic show, Harold is all for it but knows that Cassie will need to be too. Cassie has kept her feelings to herself for so long, now she finally sees her chance to let him know how she really feels but will she regret it or will it be Pure Magic?
Cassie finds herself giving in to Harold when an opportunity comes up to perform a nude magic show. Although it is against everything in Cassie, she agrees to do the show because of Harold. Cassie has never been the kind of person to reach outside of her comfort zone and do something so against her character. Harold has also been attracted to Cassie so the offer to do the magic show nude just seems natural to them both.
I liked that Cassie was able to come out of her comfort zone to show Harold how much she had been in love with him. They made a good couple together because they had known each other for so long. It was very evident from the beginning of Pure Magic that the sparks were flying. I enjoyed the chemistry Cassie and Harold shared and that there was a secret that Harold was not telling Cassie.
Although I don't read much of this type of genre, I found the characters and sexual tension to be believable and entertaining. I would have liked to learn more about the characters and about the secret Harold was keeping. I think Pure Magic would have been an outstanding read if the book had been longer. I enjoyed the ending and wished it had gone into more detail.
If you are into magic and an erotic quick read then Pure Magic is the book for you. I have never read any of Anne Sorgeson's books before reading Pure Magic but I look forward to reading her future books.
