Sarah is usually a person who likes things just right but this was her vacation so all she wanted to do was relax. She left all of her belongings upstairs while she ran down to the pool to blow off some steam. So when she gets in the elevator, she is soaking wet. She feels a bit out of place when a tall man in a suit enters the elevator but it's just a vacation right? Sarah hates elevators so when it becomes stuck, she becomes panicked. Marc Brandon is tall, dark, and cool collected so he finds it amusing when he's watching Sarah freak out. Will they make it out? Will anyone come to rescue them? Will there be a conncection between Marc and Sarah?
I thought this was such an animated and witty story. The characters of Sarah and Marc complemented each other so well. She was panicky and frustrated, he was calm and intellectual. This was a laugh out loud book, that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves romance. It was written with the essentials to a good romance; intelligent banter, humor and just an edge of sizzle. Beate Boeker did an excellent job with the characters that left me wanting to know more about them. This was definately a book I will be watching for a sequel to.

I was delighted to find this review about my short story! It's great to know it made someone laugh out loud -- thousands of miles away, months after it was written. Thank you for making my day!
