Blurb: Maren has one big goal in life. She wants to keep her independence. Her life is full to the brim with her two roles—being a single Mom and the owner of the recently founded Start-Up-Company. Men, she figures, are too exhausting to add to the mix; after all, it took her long enough to recover from her divorce.
However, one evening a business acquaintance plants his twin brother Tony in his place and Maren falls for him . . . until she sees through the masquerade. Brimming with wrath, she decides to take her revenge, but she hasn’t counted on her daughter who has quite different plans . . .
Review: Lies, deception, realization, attraction, frustration, aggravation, and love! This book has it all!
Beate has woven such a wonderful tale. I have had the pleasure of reviewing both of her books and they are so REAL! You can see the life in the books. You are given the ability to run the movie of the book in your mind. I think the thing I like about Ms. Boeker's books is the fact that they are not pretentious. They are real people leading real lives with real problems. There is never a detail forgotten in her books. I shall not give away anything about this book, but there was something at the beginning of the book that I had forgotten about, but Ms. Boeker had not, and it just made me giggle out loud. Thank you Beate, I can't wait to read more! Go NOW, and purchase this book, you will not be disappointed!
