You cannot forever keep buried what waits to be unearthed.
Three years ago, a father, mother, and son murdered each other in what would become known as the Moriarty Massacre.
Today, the Rosselli family lives in the Moriarty home, suffering from inexplicable phenomena: untraceable phone calls, a stain on the dining room carpet that keeps returning, and worse -- Thirteen-year-old Billy Rosselli has been talking to someone only he can hear.
Desperate for help, the Rosellis turn to Tim McCloskey's paranormal investigation team. A simple pursuit of evidence quickly turns into a race to prevent another massacre.
And time is short.
Review:
Frightening hauntings, life changing realizations, and a fair dash of sibling conflict make this story a great read. I have to admit I stepped into this one expecting a typical run of the mill horror with some ghosts, possibly a possession, and some mayhem. What I found instead was a very well written story with well defined characters, right down to the sweet but slightly whiny girlfriend, and a great storyline that kept me engaged well into the wee hours of the night.
The story started out somewhat slow. Not in that the action didn't start right off the bat, but to me it seemed slow. Then things really started to kick in and get interesting when the investigation really got rolling.
