The 'not knowing why' a man disappears is hard. Nicole 'The Militant' Barnes understands that firsthand. When Ethan Dennaud III walked away without a even a wave goodbye, Nicole's life spiraled out of control to the point she didn't recognize the face staring back at her from the mirror.
Now, through a series of seemingly unrelated events, he's back. Ethan has always been the man of her dreams.
With his re-entry into her life and tale of why he left, will she let him make her dreams come true?
This is a very well-written love story about love lost, sought and recovered. I felt Nicole's pain of lost love, and I commiserated with Ethan's lost memory. The way Ms. Cromwell weaves their paths back onto the right track is unique and unexpected. The reader will appreciate the characters' determination to right a wrong and persistence in achieving answers to questions. My only concern is the title of the book, in my opinion, had very little, if any, relation to the story. It seems almost an afterthought. However, the content of the book makes the title a non-issue.
