Ruby Scott is a beautiful, quiet event planner who leads an oh-so-respectable life. Yet the things that go on in her secret fantasies are anything but. She has every intention of keeping her hidden desires under wraps-until she meets a gorgeous, hard-muscled man ten years her junior. Mark St. Crow is a gifted, up-and-coming musician who collects erotic art and loves to "play" women as much as his piano. After one night of uninhibited passion, Ruby realizes there's no turning back. But as she surrenders to her deepest needs and lets Mark control every forbidden thrill, her passion for him builds. Can the wild, intoxicating nights they share lead to a love that will last forever?

After reading Bound to Please I have another favorite author and her name is Lilli Feisty. I have read D/s books in the past, and this book has the most charismatic leading man I have encountered in quite some time. Mark St. Crow is everything one expects in a hero: tall, dark and handsome, and maybe the last thing one would expect in a Dom, sensitive and caring. He is the perfect literary counterpart to Ruby Scott who is curious, wary and running away from any thoughts of a relationship. Ms. Feisty essentially lures Ruby and the reader into exploring a whole new world, and unwittingly loving it. I found myself immersed for hours in this book without realizing how long I had been reading it - is just that good! It is astounding how the writing just seems to flow effortlessly from page to page, truly the mark of a good author.

While Bound to Please is about the emerging relationship between Ruby and Mark, and the childhood issues each are trying to overcome to be together, it is also about confronting their differing attitudes concerning submission. Ms. Feisty handles this situation with delicacy rather than “raunchiness;” the sex scenes are so vivid they almost appear in Technicolor however; they are not salacious or gratuitous and always designed to advance the story. What one sees, however different it might appear, is always tastefully done. I truly enjoyed this book, and feel very comfortable recommending it to anyone interested in this subject matter, with the reminder that there is definitely some bondage involved however, there is also a wonderful romance “tied” in to the book too.
