First loves never really go away. Let just get relegated to dreams…or nightmares.
At their last encounter, Malek and Sarah promised they would meet twenty years later in that exact hour at their favorite restaurant in Nice, France. Now twenty years later, Sarah awaits for Malek’s arrival.
Will he still be the same mysterious man he once was twenty years earlier? Will he still want Sarah? Will Malek even show up?
The Golden Hour is full of intoxicating sex. It’s empowering and it’s self-defining for both Sarah and Malek. Sex can be a tool and a weapon for their relationship, it’s destructing for them. With this being said, I wonder how they can make a relationship work? Also I’m not entirely sure why they didn’t try a relationship when they first met, instead of waiting twenty years. After twenty years most of their life is over, I would want to go through those things with the man I loved. The plot is very intriguing. But I wasn’t completely satisfied with the read. From the blurb I expected so much more from this story.
