You know that Pat Robertson is a world-famous televangelist, but did you know that he's also an expert in financial matters? In his weekly broadcast segment, "Money Monday", Dr. Robertson answers viewers' questions about all things financial. His deep knowledge of finance, based on sound economic - and Biblical - principles, has made him a "go to" resource for hundreds of thousands of CBN viewers.
Now he has written a book that is accessible to everyone and provides answers people desperately need in today's tough times.
This audio book contains very good information presented in a logical understandable format. The book covers a wealth (so to speak!) of topics, including budgeting, credit scores, investing and planning for retirement and long term care. There are good hints on mortgages, refinancing, where to invest and where not to. Young people to retirees could benefit from listening to this. I learned some new tips and plan to encourage my soon to be married daughter to listen to the book!
Although the author is a well known Christian do not let that deter you from getting this excellent resource. Mr. Robertson does add a few comments regarding God’s view with Biblical support but he does not “preach” in the book.
If the information is new, a reader might want to have a notebook handy to take notes for future reference. The only other drawback to this book in audio format is that the narration is for the most part pretty unexpressive. However, the information gained is worth getting past the dry reading.
