Ty Hawthorne is a major Hollywood star with a bad playboy image. He is drifting from one major tabloid story to another. He is on the verge of promoting the DVD release of Undercover Heat, a weekly thriller he worked on with his then co-star Grace Ann Langley. He is unsure how this promotion will work as Grace and Ty have a very real and disturbing history together. Grace walked away from the show many years ago, causing the collapse of the show and speculation as to why she disappeared completely from the entertainment world. Grace finds herself thrust back into the limelight after her chosen absence. Will she be able to cope with the pressure? Will Ty be able to work again with Grace without falling in love again? Will their past stay hidden or are they about to hit the headlines again?.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The storyline was definitely straight out of Hollywood. I felt like I was prying into a Brangelina triangle. Brad Pitt could definitely play Ty Hawthorne. He is a strong character, who begins the book with many flaws and bad habits, but overcomes them for the love of good woman. Grace is innocent, feminine, and yet very strong when things go wrong and triumphs in the end.
The book was full of twists and turns and I felt anxious to see them overcome the cruel tabloids and the wicked ex-wife in order to be just a normal everyday couple. This book has plenty of romance, intertwined with tension and drama. This book is a real page turner that keeps you hanging onto the edge of your seat.
I loved the glamour and luxury of the Hollywood lifestyle and felt very envious of the lifestyle depicted in the book.
If you love to read the tabloid magazines full of Hollywood gossip, then this book is for you as you get a real insight as to how these stars have to cope in the constant limelight.
