Three lonely and unhappy young women are forced to suffer the whims of a loathsome earl who treats them like property. Wife, daughter, and maid, each woman wishes for something more than a bleak future under his thumb. So when three handsome and mysterious strangers arrive with seduction in mind, the women bloom under their scandalous tutelage. Until they discover their new lovers are hiding a potentially devastating secret.
A quick, fun, and lusty read. Michaels takes the entwined lives of three women into the pantry, the barn, the cottage, and anywhere else it may be possible to have a good romp. The maid, the maiden and the matron all get to enjoy what society dictates only men may partake of; sex. Thoroughly enjoyable, graphic but not crude, bawdy and brazen. While the ladies enjoy the affections of their men the men turn the tables on the one who had made all of their lives miserable. I enjoyed the turn of the tale, very much in the form of a trickster tale, where the good guys get even and the bad guy takes a fall.
