When you play with Fyre, you just might get burned.

Raelyn Borne has a fiery passion to save her home. Unfortunately, lawyer Logan Fyre, is as ruthless an opponent as they come. With him, she cant bribe or threaten her way out of this one.

When backed into a corner, Raelyn has a tendency to get sassy. And now she's desperate enough to enter into a dangerous game with Logan.

Does she have the strength to play with Fyre -- without getting burned?

Raelyn “Rae” Borne has overextended her finances and is on the verge of losing her business. Jensen and Fyre, a property development company, wants to buy up her property. They’ve just purchased the bank that holds her mortgage and has sent her a notice of foreclosure. When Logan Fyre arrives unexpectedly at Rae’s doorstep to discuss the foreclosure, he was ready for battle, but so was she. What they weren’t prepared for is the attraction for one another when Logan shows up at her doorstep.

Shorty after their meeting, Logan is in an accident that leaves him with temporary amnesia. Rae pretends to be his wife in order to figure out a way to stop the foreclosure. Unfortunately, Logan’s memory returns sooner than expected. Instead of telling Rae, he remains quite to see how far she takes things. Each are playing a game of deceit and having a heck of a time remaining objective as the passion ignites between them.

This novella is short, but definitely packs an erotic punch that curled my toes. Once I started, it was impossible to stop. I look forward to read more books by Mina Carter.
