There is no way people would go to the lengths they do to get sex if it was really this bad.
That’s what Marisa is thinking after yet another frustrating night. She doesn’t want a relationship. She doesn’t want love, at least not right now. What she does want is some of the hot sex that everyone else raves about…and she doesn’t know where to start.
Enter Darren Knight, Marisa’s best friend and longtime crush. Offering a casual sexual apprenticeship, he helps Marisa gain the confidence to ask for and get what she wants. A sizzling new world opens up for her, including BDSM, stripteases – and Darren’s sexy brother, Eric.
But can she take her newfound confidence to the next level and live out her ultimate fantasy?
Don’t lie you know we have all had them. All those guys that we think are firecrackers but end up duds and misfires. How many of them must a woman endure and just how can we find that one true firecracker? Poor Marisa seems to be on a roll with her duds. That is until her best friend Darren decides to lend her a helping hand. He vows to draw her out of her shell and teach her how to get just what she needs from a man and how to find a good one as well.
This book had me from the first page. I truly enjoyed watching Marisa open up and come into her own. The way she takes control of her life in and out of the bedroom was great. Who could resist her mentor and best friend Darren or even his brother Eric for that matter? I am sure many women could relate to what Marisa went through. One can only wish that we all had a Darren in our lives to help us when we need him. From great friends to lovers the relationship between Marisa and Darren blooms to new heights. As Marisa gains more confidence she shines and the right men see it. Now her only problem is how to pick just one of them. I know I couldn’t begin to pick just one myself either. With Eric and Max along for the ride as well it is a hard choice to make but what a ride it is.
It is a beautiful thing to watch all the relationships build along with Marisa and her faith in her self. This story sizzled right off of the pages and should not be missed. Lauren Gallagher writes a great flowing book with wonderful characters. I will be on the look out for more stories from this author. If they are anything like this book I know I wont be disappointed.
