When we thought nothing could be more hilarious than Harriet Ruby’s tour director adventures in Morocco [All For A Dead Man’s Leg],she’s back again in Italy with a new tour group and another gripping mystery to solve.
Harriet is conducting a custom tour for fourteen members of an Italian-American family. The family matriarch is on a quest to find the unknown location of her mother's grave so she can bury her brother's cremated ashes. Will has one of the family members under surveillance as a suspect in an assassination plot.
Charming the matriarch, Will coaxes an invitation to travel with the tour. The quirky family members, including four unruly teenagers and a pet green tree python named Fluffy, sweep through Italy leaving chaos, hilarity and danger in their wake.
Travel with them on their fast-paced romantic romp through Italy in pursuit of a lost grave, an assassin, and a healing and once-in-a-lifetime love.
Absolutely hilarious! I love Ms. Siracusa's misadventures featuring Harriet Ruby and the charming man of her dreams or is it her nightmares lol. Adventure Seekers Travel is off to Italy guiding a tour of fourteen, an Italian-American family eagar to discover their roots and secretly return their patriarch to his homeland. Of course Will is 'watching' someone connected to Harriet's tour and so charms his way back into his previous place as assistant guide. Just where are the patriarch's ashes anyway? You'll have to read it to find out.
Things go from bad to worse for Harriet, beginning with a fight for cigars in Customs. Will and Harriet's liasons have heated considerably adding to the danger and suspense of the book. If you enjoyed All for a Dead Man's Leg you're going to love All for a Fistful of Ashes. Ms. Siracusa is one author to put on your automatic 'to buy' list. This book has it all and I'm pleased to give it a 'you gotta read'. Thanks for an awesome story and I look forward to the next one.
