Rating: You Gotta Read
Reviewer: Brynna Curry

Dectective Harry Bosch and his partner Detective Ferris catch a murder case in the South district of Los Angeles, an area notorious for violent crime.  Having had a previous meeting with the victim, John Li the shopowner of Fortune Liquors, Harry is determined to catch Li's killer, but doing so may put everyone he loves in danger.  The case reveals Triad involvement and a gravelly warning to back off.  Is anything what it seems?  From LA to Hong Kong Harry leaves a path of dead bodies and destruction in his wake.  To find his daughter Madeline, there's nothing he wouldn't do.

With all the non stop action, from case revelations to dangerous situations, Nine Dragons is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Just when you think you've figured everything out, Connelly does a 180 and throws you for a loop.  The audiobook is narrated smoothly at a break neck pace deftly adding the anguish, horror and fear of Bosch and Wish as they search for their daughter. A great book, and one you've gotta read.
