John Hunter can’t refuse a request from his birth father to find his soon to be stepsister. But finding Mila means finding trouble, because it follows her everywhere. All he wants is to get her back to Earth and get his father off his back. Problem is, Mila has other plans.

Melissa Schroeder is a very versatile writer penning contemporary, historical, erotica and including Hunting Mila futuristic novels, proving to her readers once again that she is phenomenal at whatever genre she attempts. In this story Mila Simmons is missing, and her mother and future stepfather decide to send his son out to find her. Fortunately John Hunter is quite good at “finding” things, unfortunately he’s not too happy to take on a project looking for what he believes is an “irresponsible party girl.” He does this favor for his father, grudgingly – after all what is family for, and he believes this will get the old man off his back. What Hunter discovers is that Mila is more than she seems, and more than his father has been led to believe.

From their first meeting Mila and Hunter are drawn to each other, and fighting the attraction with every bit of their considerable will. Mila is on a mission, and she is determined that no one and nothing is going to stop her from completing her task. Too bad, John, really evil bad guys, and good old fashioned lust get in the way of her well laid plans and complicate things along the way. Ms. Schroeder takes her readers on a fun ride through the galaxy with her characters as they work through their feelings for each other, dodge enemies and bullets, and somehow manage to fall in and out of each others arms with wild abandon. Hunting Mila is not a fluffy book, if you do not want your love scenes hot and steamy, read something else because the flush factor has been turned up on this one - in a tasteful way of course. If you are looking for fun, adventure and steamy romance read Hunting Mila, you will not be disappointed!
