Margot Granville has spent five years trying to find a master in the BDSM underground of New Orleans. No man has been able to fulfill her needs. After another failed happening, she has a dream: kittengirls. She decides to throw a burlesque show with a complete cat theme, partly to get her mind off things and partly to see if there’s anyone left out there who could give her what she wants.
Maxwell Billew has what seems to be the last available hall in New Orleans, and Margot is practically begging him to let her rent it. But what’s it for? Maxwell learns of Margot’s plans and proclivities, and the brown-haired beauty intrigues him. Could she be the one who can accept him for the Dom he is, or will his penchant for punishment scare her off?
For five years Margot has been trying to find the right Dom for her. Over and over it seems every man she meets and tries out as a Dom disappoints her. Finally Margot decides to take things in her own hands. After watching a cat show on television she begins to plan a show of her own. Along with some of her friends from the same lifestyle Margot begins the work on her project. During this time a friend puts her in touch with Maxwell who may have the venue for her to use. As chances go Maxwell is a Dom in search of the perfect sub. Will love find these two? Can they each give it a chance or will they continue to look forever?
G. G. Royale writes a titillating story. Margot is a strong woman who knows what she wants and has the nerve to go after it. Maxwell is a great Dom and good for her. The development of their relationship was a good read. I enjoyed the friendships Margot had with many of the secondary characters. This book is not your usual BDSM story but it is an interesting story on a very different type of a fetish lifestyle. Even with that in mind this story is not only about the fetish, it is only the backdrop, this book is about finding and going after love.
