In the game of love, what if Cupid’s the loser?
Aaron Bernhart -- the new Cupid -- finds previous experience in love is a prerequisite for the job. He’s all ready with a golden bow and a quiver of magical red arrows. Sadly, what he’s lacking is a girlfriend. On his first day at work he meets Catherine, and literally tumbles head over wings…from the sky that is.
Catherine is a skeptic regarding all things romance, but finds herself turned on by Cupid’s wings. The only thing holding her back from a happily ever after is herself.
Can Aaron convince the lovely loner to take a chance on romance with him, or will he be the only single Cupid in the history of the world?
Aaron Bernhardt finds himself sprouting wings as the new (sshh, unattached) cupid, a job he isn't qualified for and doesn't want. After all what does a batchelor with a less than stellar history of failed romances know about love? You might be surprised. Catherine Alicot is a sophisticated modern woman, more at home in corporate meetings than the sleepy atmosphere of Crystal Falls. A signature is all she needs to get moved into her new home, but nothing simple is ever easy, especially when Fate, Magic and Love conspire to give these two the chance neither knew they were looking for.
Cupid in Blue is a laugh out loud, sweet and romantic short read that will leave you wishing for more. I love the insecurities in Catherine that are hidden so well by her take charge exterior. Aaron is the complete opposite of your average cupid, but his ineptness at his new post is hilarious and endearing. Ms. Sookoo never dissapoints and this novella will have you searching for books. A great story and definitely a you gotta read author!
