Vampire Jessamy Maitland is a classic workaholic, until her friends team up to buy her a weekend with the incredibly sexy vampire Dermott McMahon on his luxurious private island. Dermott is determined to get Jess to kick back and relax, so he’s enlisted the help of three lion shifter friends.

Jess finds herself faced with three days of no phone, no computer and four sexy, horny males, all determined to wait on her hand and foot and show her a scorching good time. Naked. Together. In ways she’s never imagined. With those odds, what’s a vampire to do? There’s nothing for it but take them up on their offer and discover that sometimes it’s okay to play.

Jess was turned by a friend in the prime of her youth during her second "season" in London after being raped, beaten and left for dead. Later marrying the vampire who turned her then losing him during a raid before the Civil War, Jess is not only a cynic but holds only a few people dear to her. Those few friends have decided to gift her with a weekend of pleasure at the hands of gorgeous Irish vampire Dermott McMahon, much to her surprise.

Dermott has plans to show Jess not only a wild time, but that their is more to life than work; love is waiting for her if she has the courage to take a chance. Just for Jess is a scorching hot read. Dermott's love for Jess seemed sincere, although it took me off guard. Freely sharing her with the shifters and then possessively claiming her for himself felt like a complete turnaround in character to me. Still, Just for Jess, delivers plenty of romance and heat with characters that easily leap off the page making this one you need to read.
