Review:
A Woman of Choice was a fascinating historical read that turned out to be quite the page turner. Set in 1819, I was transported to an era that I don't usually read about. Sydney's character was funny, quirky and so unlike what a proper lady should have been. Sydney is just the type of strong character I love to see in a heroine. Nicolas was strong, protective and oh so yummy. Nicolas is a man that has been hurt on a very primal level and he does all he can to protect his heart, until Sydney comes along. I don't want to give away too much of the book because there are so many interesting and unexpected twists and turns. The romance between Sydney and Nicolas was certainly one of imperfection. They simply sizzled together. The ending is amazing and will definitely leave you wanting to buy the second book in the series. A Woman of Choice is certainly a book that is now on my keeper list. Kris Tuala writes an intriguing historical romance that is sure to sweep you off your feet. A must read!

Congrats to Kris. I'm sure she's more than pleased with this review.

ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! The second two books in the triology ("A Prince of Norway" and "A Matter of Principle") are now available. I hope you fall in love - like I did - with Nicolas & Sydney Hansen.
