Review - Edge of the Woods by BL Bonita
Author: BL Bonita
Publisher: Noble Romance Publishing

Sometimes digging for the truth unleashes deadly consequences . . . .
In the remote Alberta wilderness surrounding Cold Lake, a madman wanders the provincial park. His victims are happy to share his company . . . until they suffer by his blade. Journalist Carmen James and her cameraman are there to cover the story, but as darkness falls they must fight to stay alive.
John Molloy lives a simple life in his cabin in the woods, until he stumbles upon a half-naked woman hiding in his woodshed. She's bloodied, bruised and terrified, compelling him to aide her. As Carmen mends under his care, unexpected and irresistible passion ignites between them. But The Cold Lake Butcher has plans of his own.
Can love overcome the twisted mind of a killer?
Wow, don't you just love this cover? From the beginning of this book, I was drawn to Carmen's character. The relationship she had with her camera man Adam, was lighthearted and at times had me laughing. The secondary character of Abel really complemented the other characters in the book. The story would not have been the same without him And John, (sigh) John was one hunky hero! I enjoyed learning more about his character and the issues from his past that had almost torn him apart. Now let's get to the suspense in this book. I was holding my breath at certain points during this book and was not prepared for what came next. I love it when an author can do that. When I am taken by surprise, that's always a good thing. Edge of the Woods is a fast paced, erotic read that will entertain you and leave you wanting more. I would have loved to see this story in full novel length, it's that good. Don't get me wrong, this book came along at just the right time, when I needed a spicy, quick read filled with suspense. Edge of the Woods does not disappoint. The ending was just how it should have ended and I loved it! This was the first time I have read anything by BL Bonita and can't wait to read more.
