Review:

While I didn't read book one in the series, it wasn't difficult picking up the threads of this fast-paced little read by Jade Twilight. I thoroughly enjoyed Alex and Riley's sexcapades from the start of their adventure until the end and, most especially the snappy dialogue between the main characters. If there is any criticism to be levelled at the writing, it's the pacing, which, in places, moves along too quickly. I would have liked things to be a bit slower, with a little more description of the environment, the scents, sights and sounds so that I could digest the plot's development.

Overall, this yarn is a joy to read, the writing and editing of a consistently high quality, making it easy for me to run with the story. If you're looking for a quick read featuring sassy girls, drop-dead gorgeous hunks, mild bondage, dragons and cat people, all rolled together in one fun-filled romp, this one will appeal.
