Though society stands in their way, can love transcend time with the aid of robotics and ritual? In peril for her life, the Priestess Seshat turns herself to stone in ancient Egypt. Centuries later, Ricard, a dashing nineteenth century Frenchman, repairs a broken statue and reads its incantation--unprepared for the gorgeous flesh and blood woman who steps forth.

Seshat is drawn to the brass robots Ricard creates and the glamor of the Victorian age, and most of all to Ricard himself. But the society of his day cannot accept a woman like her. How far will Ricard go to secure her happiness? Is their love strong enough to transcend time itself?

Starting out with a man being kicked out of the Louvre, As timeless As Stone hits the ground running and the pace does not slow to the last page.

Ricard Dubois is the assistant to the Director of the Louvre in this Steampunk genre, time travel story by Maeve Alpin. He is an inventor and is about to meet the woman of his dreams.

Seshat is a priestess in the temple of Horus at Dejba, or at least she was 2000 years ago. Now she has awoken in Victorian France and has one major question - Why do the women wear so many clothes?

Filled with vivid erotic scenes, endearing characters and humorous dialogue, As Timeless As Stone is a great story.

Well written with a sweetly happy ending, Maeve Alpin has written a story that will enchant all who read it.
