While visiting her parents' grave site, Cara Lyle hears a man's voice calling for her to wait when she passes Alan Langly's headstone. Fear courses through her because she is the only person in the graveyard. Later that night, she finds herself caught in a dream where she is swept through the night to stand before his headstone. He urges her to kiss the stone, and out of terror, Cara kisses it. She awakens in her bedroom to find a handsome man standing there claiming to be Alan Langly.

Sweet and awesome - those are the two words that come to mind when I think of Kissing the Stone by Cia Leah.

Cara Lyle has recently lost her parents to a car accident. She is a well adjusted young woman who is sad but has a level head and is moving forward, so when she starts hearing voices she gets a little freaked out.

Kissing the Stone is a well written short story. The characters are endearing and the story is realistic and fun. I found the premise of the story to be interesting. I was very surprised with it and greatly enjoyed reading this short story.

This is a very sweet story that you definitely need to read.
