Sometimes the answer comes from the simple twist of a tool . . . .

Andi Thomas has a problem. Her boyfriend cares little for her sexual satisfaction, and doesn't respect her job as a mechanic. She's beginning to feel like love and lust aren't meant to be a part of her life. To make matters worse, a gorgeous stranger moves in next door, and he's everything her boyfriend isn't. What's a sexually starved woman to do?

When Darren Holloway discovers the fiery vixen next door is the very person he's been looking for, he's caught between his desire to make her his and his mission to strike a business deal. Lured by pure lust, he finds himself falling in love. But how can he convince her to accept him when the woman has been hurt one too many times?

Wow, how hot is that cover huh? Yes, the cover is indicative of how hot the book really is. Right from the beginning of Under the Hood, I could tell this would be a full on fun and sexy read. I fell in love with Andi's character for the simple fact that she wasn't just like every other woman. Being a tomboy, Andi seemed to find the same sort of men, until she meets the man next door, Darren Holloway. Although she has insecurities, this one flaw made her character very real to me. As far as Darren, oh my goodness, this man is incredibly gorgeous. He has a mischievous side that makes his character simply sizzle. The chemistry between Darren and Andi was explosive making me turn the pages as quickly as possible to see what might happen next. Secondary characters, such as Elsie, made me laugh. She was one tough and sassy cookie. Two thumbs up on the ending.

BL Bonita paints a vivid and enticing picture as she tells an engaging story sprinkled with humor. I've read one other book of hers and I like her style, wit and humor. She writes in a way the reader can relate to, and the plot line as well as the characters become memorable. I highly recommend Under the Hood if you're looking for a some incredibly sexy scenes with characters you won't soon forget.
