It's been little over one month, and Jaycee Manz has finally stopped running. The threats are gone. She has her men-Remi LeBlathe, and the brothers Dane and Mark Glassgo-who surround her with love and passion. Even after being hunted, seeing love ones die, and experiencing physical betrayal, Jaycee see’s hope for the future with her men. With a baby on the way, a wedding to plan, and Christmas right around the corner, she has never been happier. Now if she could just get rid of this gut feeling that something or someone is still after her, everything would be fine.
Remi, Dane, and Mark have vowed no one will hurt their mate again, including themselves. They had come to close to losing her for good because of their pride, but it won’t happen again. No one, neither family or foe, will stop the shifters from giving Jaycee the home she’s always dreamed of- a place where she can feel safe, loved, and at peace to raise their children.
This is book number three in Jaycee’s story. Remi, Mark and Dane continue to try and keep Jaycee and the packs safe. Yet evil continues to surround them. Even though they love one another they all must learn to trust in each other in this book. They fight an ongoing battle with the evil forces. No matter what they do it seems that someone is always after Jaycee. When they find out who the real threat it they must put it all on the line and fight together.
The bond that Jaycee and her mates have is a wondrous thing and makes for a great read. Not only is Jaycee a strong woman but she also has the love and strength of the three wonderful men who stand at her side. No matter what, the love that they share together stands up against all that is thrown at them. Jaycee’s mates learn from their mistakes and she herself learns to trust them.
As with the other two books in this series this one contains strong sex and play themes and readers should be aware if they are offended easily before buying. I myself have enjoyed every one of these books in this series and hope that this author brings us back to this world again. This book was a nice wrap up of this storyline and I would love to read many of the other characters stories. With many interesting twists and turns in this book I was glued to my seat and kept turning the pages to see just what would happen next in Jaycee’s world.
