Adam Lancaster has been in love with Rob McKeith—and attracted to Rob's wife, Shayla—for years, but he fears their friendship would be over if they knew the truth. So he's thrilled when his secret fantasy becomes reality and the couple offers him a very special gift: a sensual Christmas Eve in their bedroom…

Review:

Adam Lancaster and Rob McKeith had been friends since childhood, not just friends, but the very best of friends. Adam wanted more than that with Rob, but knew it would never happen, he would never act on his feelings for fear of destroying the most precious thing in his life. Besides Rob was married to a beautiful woman that he was deeply in love with. Adam was horrified to learn that he himself was attracted to Shayla as well. He was buried in guilt over his feelings, there just didn’t seem to be anything he could do about them. When Rob wants Adam to come upstairs for his Christmas gift, he wanted to run in the opposite direction. He really did not want to see the room where Rob and Shayla slept together, but when he discovers the gift is Shayla tied up in red velvet ribbons, well it’s considered rude to turn down a gift.

I ate this story up like a duck on a junebug. The Gift of Shayla was one of the hottest little stories I’ve run across in a looong time. Ms. Walters plies her craft with a master’s touch in this story, mixing erotica with deep emotion for the perfect holiday stocking stuffer. Adam had a vulnerability that was just endearing as all get out, and he was a blonde, muscular teddy bear. Rob was the opposite side of the coin, dark and dominating. They just worked so well together. Throw the lovely Shayla into the mix, and it was page after page of sensual fireworks. This is a story that would be absolutely perfect reading in front of a cozy fire with a significant other. The story is just the perfect length to warm the blood on a chilly night.

Make sure to add this sexy read to your Christmas list because this is a gift that will last beyond the season.
