Over the Atlantic, an airliner’s controls suddenly stop reacting. In Japan, an oil tanker runs aground when its navigational system fails. And in the Midwest, a nuclear power plant nearly becomes the next Chernobyl.

At first, these computer failures seem unrelated. But Jeff Aiken, a former government analyst who saw the mistakes made before 9/11, fears that there may be a more serious attack coming. And he soon realizes that there isn’t much time if he hopes to stop an international disaster.

Review:

My first though on this book was "If I get the opportunity to push the sale of any book, this is the book I would choose, for the simple fact that we need to be educated in cyber terrorism." A thought provoking thriller, Zero Day is by far one of the most exciting yet terrifying books I have ever read. In our generation, there is no where you can look that is not controlled by computers in some capacity. Just think about it for a minute. Online banking, your power at home, the airplane that you take to reach your destination and even your check out at the grocery store, these are all reliant on computers. Now try to imagine a virus attacking any one of those industries and your world would be turned upside down. Zero Day is a book that addresses those issues and expounds on that by painting a vivid picture of what can happen should one of these industries come under attack. The public needs to become educated and aware of the fact that cyber terrorism does exist and CAN happen to them.

I am currently a programming student in college and one of the areas we study is internet security. Just about everything we studied in class is included in this book. I've told my instructors that this book needs to be required reading because it not only shows you the magnitude of destruction that viruses can cause but it helped me to better understand what I learned in class. When I read this book, it was almost as though it were in two parts. The first part of the book concentrated on the technical computer side and the second part where most of the action was found in the book. Believe me when I tell you that there is a lot of action throughout the book and that it was nearly impossible to put this book down.

I felt a connection right away with Jeff Aiken's character. Previously working with the government, Jeff tries to bring attention to the links between all the disasters taking place and the recent virus outbreaks. He's met with red tape throughout the book and I couldn't help but feel helpless right along with him. Jeff has closed himself off from forming relationships with anyone and finds himself attracted to Daryl, his female counterpart who happens to work for the government. Watching Jeff and Daryl work side by side while their relationship grows stronger, was a breath of fresh air. I found myself rooting for their relationship to flourish beyond friendship. While the focus stays on cyber terrorism, romance between these two is intricately woven into the story. There are some surprises with Jeff's co-workers that you won't see coming. I loved to be shocked and Mr. Russinovich does just that very well I might add. The action in this book is remarkable. Painting vivid pictures of the level of greed humans go to, the reader is transported into a very dark world.

Zero Day is the debut novel for author Mark Russinovich who is a cyber security expert with Microsoft. A well researched and highly developed book, Zero Day is a must read for everyone who is dependent on the internet in any form. The book does get technical quite often but Russinovich does an excellent job of explaining what he's talking about. Everyone needs to be made aware of the potential of a threat of global proportions and even though this is a fictional story, it can easily become reality. Zero Day is an addictive read that will stay with you for a long time to come. It is a MUST READ!

As soon as she sees her newest patient, veterinarian Suzanne Grier knows he's no normal wolf. Zan and her colleagues at Alaska's Wolf Sanctuary have always believed the Dire Wolves exist -- and they believe just as strongly in keeping their existence a secret. Zan's never fought so hard to save a wolf -- or a man. The doctor can treat the wounded body, but only the woman can heal his wounded heart.

It's been years since John's felt the touch of a woman's hand. Zan gives him a reason to want to live as a man again. But wolves mate for life. Before he can make that kind of promise, he's got unfinished business to take care of. A wolf defends what's his.

Wolf's got a silver bullet to return to its owner.

Review:

While the story itself is nothing extraordinary, there is enough to keep it from being just porn. For one, I really like the way the characters interact. John's gradual return from his wolf mind is endearing, while Zan's dedication to her work despite personal sacrifice shows her to be a strong woman in her own right. For another, the do not live in a "bubble," and are forced to interact with the world as a whole.

The sex is fun and really does not take itself too seriously. It gives the feeling that both characters are enjoying themselves and each other and avoids professions of feelings that would really be more awkward than anything else at this stage.

Overall, I recommend this story. It's short, but it is fun.

Pearls: Pearls make the perfect anniversary gift... wherever you wear them... like a negligee, it's all about who's removing them. And how. (BDSM)

The Green Man: A woman. A car. A lonely road... sometimes when things go crash in the night there's more at work than just the weather. (Paranormal, Dark Fantasy)

Jasmine: Be careful what you say to a writer. Especially a mystery writer -- particularly if she happens to have been your childhood sweetheart -- and the woman you dumped two decades ago. Sometimes revenge is a dish best served cold. There's always room for another twist in Jasmine's plots... (Bisexual)

Women Know: Jamie's Turkish lover has asked that she follow his cultures' traditions. But a bikini wax is more than she's willing to have done in her local salon. A visit to his sister seems in order. Her lover assures her "Our women know what to do." And he's right... (Ménage; Bisexual)

Review:

Pearls: This story is pretty standard BDSM fare, nothing too radical, and sweet in its own way. This is a good story for those just wadding into the deep and varied world that BDSM encompasses.

The Green Man: This one, while not sporting anything too racy in a sexual sense, is kind of strange in the conclusion. Like Pearls, this one just dabbles in a Dom/sub relationship but does no more then get its proverbial toes wet and would be good for someone just beginning to explore this part of their sexuality.

Jasmine: I think every writer has wanted to use their story to take passive-aggressive revenge on someone from their past. The vast majority of us, however, do not take it this far. Still, this story is fun and my favorite of the four. This one, unlike the two before, this one ventures a bit farther from the vanilla.

Women Know: This story doesn't do anything for me personally. For me at least, having the most sensitive part of my body waxed is not sexy. But to each their own.

Her ability to project physical illusions has created the perfect vacation spot-a dark, isolated Alaskan hideaway where visitors can have their wildest fantasies come true.

Vivian knows the best performance requires perfect timing, but the powerful vamp is put to the test when she discovers a corpse in a locked guestroom minutes before the next arrivals. Always cool-headed, Rafe hides the body, convinced that he and Vivian can find the culprit without disturbing their guests.

Juggling the increasingly outrageous demands of their customers while tracking a killer isn't easy. Will their poking and prodding give them the answers they need, or will it uncover secrets that Vivian would kill to protect?

Review:

Ages old master vampire Dria, better known as Vivian to her elite and unusual clientele, is content to run her inn in the wilds of Alaska where six months of darkness are a haven for vampires. With her ever present mate Rafe, Dria begins to uncover not only the circumstances of the murder, but a secret that may destroy everything she holds dear.

With a strong sexy heroine and steady hero, C.J. Ellisson's Rafe and Dria are reminiscent of Robb's Roarke and Eve, but with a dark spooky twist and no holds barred scorching hot love scenes. Supporting characters that are every bit as intriguing and deep as Dria aide in taking this steamy suspense novel to a surprising end. Vampire Vacation is a definite 'Gotta Read'.

Immerse yourself in the passion and intrigue of ancient Greece in this fantastic story by Sultry Summers.

Trojan Gold is the story of an old woman who is favored by the gods and the fantastic adventure she sets out on when she finds an infant survivor of the battle at Troy.

My favorite character of the story is definitely Helle. Her good heart and sweet spirit are clear to any who read her tale. She is given a chance to take another's child into her home and raise him as her own and she does so without hesitation. AS the parent of a step-child this theme rings very true to my own heart. Her honesty and integrity are also great examples even in this crazy modern world.

The erotic scenes were vividly descriptive and the story had a great flow that kept the pages turning to the end.

Filled with gods, goddesses, intrigue and passion Trojan Gold is a definite must read.

Review:

Since the death of her husband Belle has kept herself busy. Founding her own business and putting her all into it, keeping her busy but lately she has begun to get lonely. Belle has always been proud and sexually active but all that changed when her husband passed. When one of Belle's best friends gets married Belle's dry spell grounds to a halt. Trey and Gage are standing up in the wedding and are more than happy to give Belle what she wants.

Hat Trick is well written and has great characters. I just loved Belle. She is a smart and feisty woman who knows what she wants. As she tries to figure out if she wants to fight for her men we get to see how much they love her. Trey and Gage are great men. They love with all there hearts and care about Belle and only wish to make her happy. The three of them are great together. The love they share shines right through the story.

Rebellious leopard shifter Garrison Fredricks may be the answer to all her needs. Some sexy talk and a bit of action is just what the love fairy ordered. Only problem is he has a teensy-weensy little secret that may piss her off. And a Love Fairy pissed off is not a good thing.

Eros has been pushing the fairies to their limit. Working them almost to death. Alastrina has had enough, not caring about the consequences she takes the night off to go to the bar called Last Call. There she meets a leopard shifter named Garrison. The two hit it off until a great misunderstanding sends Alastrina running back to the magical fairy mounds to heal her heart.

Chocolate Shock pulled me in right from the first page. I loved the sassiness and the fight that Alastrina has. She is a great woman who needs to find her true love. Garrison is one bad dude. I fell for him just as fast as Alastrina does. He screams bad boy in every way yet he is tamed by Alastrina as soon as she walks in the door and the beautiful thing is that she doesn't even realize what she has done. She is a beautiful woman inside and out and seeing her finally find her true self was a great read. The instant attraction the two have turns into more and you can see the love that blooms between them shine brightly. I especially enjoyed the shower scene where Garrison tells Alastrina not to diminish herself and what they have. This was a very touching scene that had Garrison endearing himself even more to me.

Selena Illyria weaves a wondrous spell in Last Call: Europe Chocolate Shock. With characters so full of emotion and depth this is a book that should not be missed. This short read packs a great punch and I will be sure to continue reading this series, as well as look for more from this author.

In this story we meet Neadra who is a water sprite who is deathly afraid of water and Caelan who is a dragon shifter who cannot shift. When the two meet the sparks fly and when disaster strikes will Caelan be the hero Neadra needs?

I love both this series but this author as well. The town of Strange Hollow is a wonderful place to visit and Sandra Sookoo is a great author. So put them together and you have a great match. No matter what he thinks about himself Caelan is a strong man. When he meets Neadra he proves what a hero he can be. I found myself pulled in to the magical world of Changing Tides right from the start. This story is fast paced with characters full of emotion and depth. Review:

I'm of two minds about this story. It's bordering on a You Gotta Read but doesn't quite make it. Structurally the tale is sound. I'm sure there are a lot of women who can relate to Claudia's situation and, overall, the premise is workable, giving more than enough of a frame work for the erotic aspects.

Zahara's strong world-building left me with a very clear and very detailed visual of her setting and the interactions between Talas, which certainly offered more than enough tropical heat. What was nice was that the author paced herself well between the love-making and actual narrative.

This being said, there were some issues that bugged me a little. While the story flows well and the writing is of a very high caliber and no grammar gremlins leaped out of the page to snap at me, some of Zahara's descriptions didn't really work for me. I think I'm going to lay off eating mushrooms for a while, I'm sorry. It was that, and also her over-fondness for alliteration and adjectives that also got a bit much for my inner editor to bear.

Overall, despite the aforementioned aspects (it could just be me, who knows…) I reckon this is a pretty darn decent piece of short erotic fiction. It's entertaining; it has likeable characters who get up to all sorts of misdeeds with each other in an exotic setting. What more could a gal want?

Lilian Quinn came to this remote town to start a new life. No one knew she had escaped from Custodes Secreti, a secret organization dedicated to using people with strange abilities for their own ends. All she wanted was a quiet, normal existence. Even if it meant living a lie.

Matthias Romulus was content to be the Alpha werewolf of the local pack, until he bumped into Lilian. Powerfully drawn to her, he stepped in to help her when the Custodes Secreti tracked her down. He didn't know she was trained in much more than waiting tables.

With Lilian's murderous ex-boyfriend coming after her and secret agents on her trail, the strange dreams she's been having are only the beginning. Matthias has problems of his own with his pack giving ultimatums. Can a psychic woman and an alpha wolf come together to resolve the issues of their hearts-and the issues of their continued survival?

Review:

When the opening chapter gives me a psychic waitress and a fun-loving rabble of long-haired thugs on motorcycles, I sit up and take notice. Isobael has created a fascinating cast of characters with a storyline to match. While I don't want to give spoilers, I must admit I found the combination of supernatural beings to be a breath of fresh air, and I particularly liked the way she set up her werewolf society. There's enough background here for her to write many spin-offs.

What I also appreciated about her characters was that both Lilian and Matthias are equally headstrong, which understandably leads to a few miscommunications along the way. Of course their stubborn natures are also underpinned by the undeniable physical attraction between the two, and sparks soon fly.

What's great about this story is Isobael's attention to detail. While there were times when I felt I did want to know more about characters' motivations, a strong narrative flow is definitely one of this author's strong points. There's a lot more happening here than in most romance novels that just focus on the emotions of love.

If you have a passing knowledge White Wolf's old gaming systems that were so popular during the 1990s then you'll definitely be on familiar turf with how this milieu unfolds. Moonlight and Magick is entirely readable for its genre, the story often taking a few unexpected twists. It's fun and surprising at turns, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out should the author be writing a follow-up. Liu knows her stuff and she doesn't disappoint.

Rick and Cindy are happily married and secrets have never been a part of their relationship- until Rick encounters erectile dysfunction and attempts to 'fix it' on his own. Either they let this sexual secret destroy their otherwise happy marriage or they give credence to the rumor that the brain really is the biggest sex organ!

Review:

Even though Rick is in a relationship where honesty is number one he is the one holding back and lying to his wife about his lack of performance. Not until he is caught in a big misunderstanding does he realize that he could really loose his wife forever.

Rick's Story is a wonderful story of true love. Rick is a good man but pride makes him ignore the truth until it is too late. Cindy loves him with all her heart but she can't fight what she doesn't know. Rick and Cindy are a great couple that fight to keep their love. I really enjoyed the way these two finally came together and begin to work through their problem.

Kissa Starling writes a great story about true love and what is takes to keep it. Rick's Story is a quick read that shows us how strong love can be making this a book that should not be passed up.

You know what they say about deals with the Devil…

This time the deal the Devil makes is with God, who offers him a chance at redemption if he can experience human love. Easy enough, according to the Devil, who thinks that making the woman God has chosen fall in love with him will be a simple task. Unfortunately, Lucifer didn't count on interfering demons, blundering boyfriends, and a young woman who has more questions than he's willing to answer.

Review:

I think I should start by stating the painfully obvious: this story has religious overtones - specifically Christian. Religion is one of those topics that can be very touchy simply because no two people can agree on it 100%. While the topic does not bother me personally, I do understand that it can be off-putting to some readers.

On the technical side, there are a lot of rather noticeable typos even in a story this long. These include misspelled words and awkward sentence structure.

As to the characters, they are rather flat. He is Lucifer, an angel who had the balls to challenge God, and she is the woman hand-picked to save his soul. These characters should be larger then life. But they are instead amazingly ordinary. Christa lacks any sort of passion for anything, she walks down the very median of life content to have little opinion on most subjects. And the Devil comes off as a run-of-the-mill, trust-fund pretty boy. His biggest displays of power are a few spontaneous location jumps and semi-omnipresence.

The plot is fairly standard, but well executed. It does show that the heroine has a life beyond the hero and is still a strong, capable human being in and of herself.

Overall, it's a good book, but nothing extraordinary.

Carrie Lang’s sheltered life ends with a prison sentence for involvement in a bank robbery. Her arrest comes on the day she’s called in sick and stayed inside, so she has no explanation how an eye-witness describes her in great detail, down to the make and model of her car. A terrible mistake’s been made, and her insistence of innocence falls on deaf ears, even among her fellow inmates. A plan for retribution is brewing, and naive Carrie finds herself smack dab in the middle of an evil scheme concocted by the prison bully. A ten year sentence seems mild when she’s threatened with death for refusing to participate. Can Carrie find a way out of this horrible nightmare, or is she destined to spend her days locked in terror, isolation, and the cold gray interior of prison walls?

Review

Carrie's character is one that readers will easily identify with. Vulnerable to a certain point, we see Carrie coming into her own and becoming a stronger person as her jail time progresses. Her character will evoke just about every emotion, especially despair, frustration and finally hope.

When Seth's character was introduced, I wasn't sure if he was a good guy or bad guy. I won't tell you which and trust me when I say, you will be flipping the pages as fast as you can to find out. The interaction between Carrie and Seth gives depth to this book and the end .... well, all I can say is my mouth was hanging open. It was a very surprising ending that you just don't want to miss.

Then we meet the prison bully, Jet. With a score to settle, she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Jet's character was exasperating. I found myself strongly disliking her and wishing she would get her due punishment. Ms. Simpson created the perfect villain in Jet, a true manipulator, while at the same time giving her some very real qualities that one minute had you liking her and the next wishing she would drop off the face of the earth.

First Degree Innocence is an extremely unique book in that it gives the reader a legitimate glimpse into the lives of the incarcerated while throwing several twists into the story. It was a riveting and highly entertaining read. Ms. Simpson writes about interesting characters and complex plot lines while at the same time drawing the reader in with each new page. This is one author who sure didn't pull any punches with First Degree Innocence and you will be immersed in Carrie's world within the first paragraph. This book starts out with a bang and continues through to the last page. First Degree Innocence is an exceptional book that will have you hooked right from the beginning. If you love to root for the underdog, look no further, you've found the perfect book.

CA Verstraete on the importance of covers.

I wanted to thank Delilah for hosting me today.

Appropriately, I wanted to talk about what makes a book, whether in print or e-book, attractive. The answer? The cover, of course.

Given that Delilah was the cover artist for my recent e-book, THE KILLER VALENTINE BALL, by C.A. Verstraete I thought it a good topic to talk about on her blog. And not just because she did a great job.

The key when working with a cover artist is cooperation. While I provided a short description, excerpt and suggested elements for her to use for the cover, I did learn a few things about how interpretation can be different.

Seeing as the book was set at a ball, with one scene highlighting the tables set up for a Valentine-themed party, her choice of artwork showing a table scene was perfect. What we differed on was a simple, but important element - the axe.

The axe, which is first seen wedged in the sign outside the location announcing THE KILLER VALENTINE BALL gives a kind of preview as to what the event is about. Valentine's Day, yes but with a darker edge, as my characters Jess and her date soon learn.

In describing such elements, it never dawned on me to specify what kind of axe to use for the graphic. Medieval? Ornate? Plain, utilitarian? So, the first axe was pretty eye-catching, but seemed out of place and too ornate for such an event. The choice of a plain, simple workman's axe solved the problem.

While it may not seem like a big deal, getting every element right and illustrative of the text not only makes the cover and book attractive, but serves as a visual cue as to what the story's about. It can be a plus, or a minus, as some authors find when something in the cover is wrong. Getting it right often means helping the artist see just what you had in mind for a specific scene. Or hopefully, it means getting lucky and getting an artist who is willing to make changes when the results are slightly off-the-mark.In the end, the book cover should be something that publisher, author and cover artist are proud to share, and readers will find compelling.

THE KILLER VALENTINE BALL by C.A. Verstraete

A party at a day camp; a blind date on Valentine's Day. Can you say loser? But this is no ordinary party. The Killer Valentine Ball has more thrills than Jess ever expected--or will ever forget.

Excerpt:

As they walked into the shadows, Jess noticed that things weren't quite as they appeared. Sections of the room lightened for a moment before being cast again in deep shadow. What Jess thought she saw in that split second made her heart race. On the dance floor, the same three couples stood, clasped to each other. Jess stared. She swore they never moved.

The music played quietly in the background. When the shadows brightened, Jess caught a quick glimpse of one of the couples. The young man's mouth gaped open. His partner's gown glistened with streams of dark ribbons. The light flashed again and Jess gasped. Those weren't ribbons! The girl's dress shone with dark glimmers. Like-like blood, she thought. No, it can't be! She looked back at Dylan, who shook his head and urged her on.

"Light tricks," he whispered. "It's not real. It's Halloween stuff, like the movie. Don't worry."

The Anasazi whispered of this evil and of the woman who could defeat it. Fire, sky, and stone must unite to fulfill an ancient prophecy.

Madison Evans inherits a turquoise locket, travels to New Mexico, and discovers the stone dates back to the Chacoan Anasazi. When she's attacked, parks ranger Lonan Stone, of Chacoan ancestry, fears Madison's turquoise is a missing twin of the revered Fallen Skystone, an egg size piece of turquoise on display in Albuquerque. The mystical stone is missing two slivers - one's in Madison's necklace, the others whereabouts unknown, but if united by evil they can destroy.

Madison and Lonan are part of a 1000 year old prophecy to save Chaco Canyon. Thrust back in time, they meet a witch, solve a murder, fall in love, and imprison a 1000 year old evil spirit. Their mission complete, can these two people from different cultures blend their lives as the prophecy predicted?

Review:

Madison and Lonan are thrown together under some very unusual circumstances which leads to a very interesting predicament. What would you do if you were told that an entire culture depended on you to save them? This is just what Madison faced when she went in search of her family's history. When she first sees Lonan, she is instantly attracted but not for the reasons you might think. She recognizes him from her dreams, which makes Flames on the Sky a sensually stimulating time travel adventure. The sexual tension between Madison and Lonan builds as the two realize that they have some things they need to do to fulfill the 1000 year old prophecy. This lends an air of intrigue to the story as you wonder, will these two really do what is needed to save their ancestors? The attraction each holds for the other is obvious and whew, there were some really hot moments.

The characters throughout this book are very well developed and Ms. LaRoque brings vivid life to the Chocoan Anasazi heritage . I am not a history buff. It's hard for me to grasp how people lived in the past, but when I can read a romance novel and learn something, I fall in love with history. Ms. LaRoque lays the foundation for life as it was back then. She leads the reader into the customs of the time and how different that time period is from ours now. I find time travel fascinating and Linda LaRoque makes it more than just a learning experience, she also makes it fun. Flames on the Sky was an action packed read that kept getting more interesting the more I read. I never knew which turn the story would take and was very pleased with the ending. I highly recommend Flames on the Sky for anyone who loves romantic suspense laced with some history and time travel. This was a full bodied novel that you don't want to miss.

Wild Thing Series, Book One. Life can’t be all fun and games, or can it? Madison Stewart spends her days taking care of children at the Sunny Days Childcare Center, and her nights wondering what’s missing from her life. When Robert Cooper brings his three year old daughter, Sophie, to the center, he not only fills the vacancy in Maddie’s classroom, but also the empty spot in her heart.

Sophie’s mother returns with her own agenda, and Rob is forced to choose between an old, familiar existence and his new, more complicated relationship. Shocked and hurt at his indecision, Maddie, with secrets of her own, feels the need to run and hide. When Rob seeks her out, what he finds stuns him and changes their lives forever.

Review:

Every once in a while you get a book that really touches your heart. Hide and Seek was that book for me. Although the relationship between Rob and Maddie wasn't perfect, it was a moving and powerful read. Maddie was a strong and confident woman who did what she needed to do in order to take care of her life. This is the part where it gets hard not to throw a spoiler in. From the moment that Maddie leaves her former life, the plot line takes off. There are so many twists and turns and I was up late into the night just waiting to see what happened next. Rob and Maddie had intense feelings of love but of course there was conflict in the form of an unpleasant ex and misunderstandings. Sophie's character gripped my heart and didn't let go. She seemed so grown up for her age and because of that, some of her reactions just made me laugh out loud.

Rob's character had me scratching my head sometimes, but watching him grow into the man he was meant to be made it all worthwhile.

Ms. Hill is one of my favorite authors and I'm reminded of that each time I read one of her books. She has a talent for taking the reader on a journey with unforgettable characters while developing a plot line that is highly entertaining. Hide and Seek is a very addicting read and I strongly urge you to pick it up the minute you get the chance.

A man hell -bent on keeping his friends safe, Branson Braxton goes out of his way to protect the Giovanni family. Soon, he finds he's devoted and attracted to Suzy Giovanni. He'll do anything to protect her and goes out of his way to love her.

Review:

Okay wow, what a first chapter. What a first couple of sentences! Suzy Giovanni was not a character I warmed up to very easily. I started to like her more in the last book, but The Third Promise won me over. Marco has been on the run with his family since the day he set up his death to keep his family out of harms way. Alanzo, his brother, found himself in love with Suzy and so it came to be that two brothers were in love with the same woman. Enter Branson Braxton, the fiercely loyal friend to Alanzo and Marco. With someone out to destroy his friends' family, Branson will do whatever necessary to stop them. Branson's character was scorching hot and he quickly became one of my favorite characters in the whole series. Throughout this book, the reader is taken on a journey of very believable characters with extraordinary issues to deal with.

Ms. Blaine brings substance to her characters and it's always more than just sex. Anyone can write descriptive scenes but Ms. Blaine brings life and excitement to her characters. I hate to see this series end, but what a way to wrap it up. This series was exhilarating with twists and turns that will have you turning the pages as fast as you can. I enjoyed how each book opened and closed as the character was talking about her own story. That approach gave it a more personal connection to the character speaking. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone book as there is enough information given in each story to keep you informed on what's been happening but you'll definitely want to read the series, it's a must have for your bookshelf.

Garrick has spent the better part of his life making his Las Vegas lupin pack the strongest of all the post-war human-born paranormal groups. Now he wants something for himself-a mate. But how will his pack respond if they discover their Alpha is a closeted sexual submissive?

Not the typical faerie prince, Faolan is disobedient, lives in exile and has more piercings than a punk band. He's also a sexual dominant longing for someone to call his own.

What are a lovelorn faerie and wolf to do? Turn to a paranormal dating service, of course. When Divine Intervention pairs Garrick and Faolan, it's a match made in BDSM heaven, the resulting explosion a conflagration of passion the likes of which neither has ever known. Of course, the reactions to a wolf/faerie union are just as heated…

Review:

Garrick may be the Alpha of his pack but he longs to be mastered himself. After another unfulfilling night of sex Garrick finds himself consulting a dating service dedicated to matching paranormals. His match turns out to be one of the enemy: a faerie. When Garrick meats Faolan he falls for the man quickly but can their bond overcome all the obstacles that are thrown at them?

I was pulled in to the world of Garrick and Faolan right from the start. I don't know who I liked more Faolan or Garrick. They are both strong men who are willing to fight for what they want. Garrick is a great alpha but he has needs and he finally decides to embrace his submissive side with Faolan. The bond that grows between these two men was a great read. Faolan is a good Dom always aware of his sub and always wanting to show his love. The two make a great couple standing and fighting for and at each other's side no matter what.

In Faerie bound Jenna Castille weaves a wondrous story full of love and emotions. I enjoyed immersing myself in her world of paranormals. I loved not only the two main characters but also the secondary characters and cannot wait to see if Aindreas will get his own story. This book was a very enjoyable read and should not be missed.
