Welcome to Lenvia, where the young prince has been given a year to choose a wife or have one chosen for him. Hoping for a desperate family to send an innocent into the fray, Edward arranges a series of Bride Balls--outrageous sexual events--and a willing decoy in his bid to find someone who loves him for himself and not his crown.

Enter Amber, daughter of a dead lord on his beloved mistress, a servant in her own household. When her irrepressible grandmother pushes her to find a husband or lover to protect her from the wrath of her step-mother, Amber loses more than her virginity...but itÆs not a glass slipper that the prince has to track her with.

The race is on. Before these two are through, more than one couple may find their way through the traps of poison, lies, and no-win choices forged at a long ago Bride Ball and left to fester through two generations of the royal family.

Brenna Lyons once again captures your heart and your attention in this fantastic story.

Bride ball is actually three interwoven stories that revolve around the same family.

Cinder: This is the story of Amber and Edward. Edward is crown prince and has been given an ultimatum by his father Benjamin that he is find a queen within one year. Edward agrees to this but he has to find her on his own terms. A series of bride balls are arranged. One of which is held at a manor close to Ambers family estate. At the ball Amber sneaks in and meets Edward and the adventure ensues. Edward has fallen in love with his mysterious Cinder and now must find her to make her his bride.

Should Have Beens: This is the story of rediscovering love and being yourself. Benjamin, Edwards father from the first part of the book, and Alana have been married for years. Alana is the perfect queen but the passion has wained from their marriage. Edward makes a suggestion to Benjamin that could change their marriage forever and bring back the woman he fell in love with if only he will follow the advice.

Stepsister: This is the story of Amber’s, from the first story, stepsisters, Kambry and Marquita and their unorthodox arrangement with Edwards cousin Darren. After the bride ball Darren took both sisters as lovers and contracted that the first to produce an heir would become his wife. The story evolves as Darren falls in love with one of the sisters and must find a way to get out of the contract with the other sister to marry his love.

These three stories are fantastically written. As you read you fall into the story and cannot help but keep turning the pages until the very end. The characters are well developed and engaging while you root for the good guy, boo the bad guys and have tears of happiness in your eyes by the end of this great story.
